Mission for the Day

Good day. It’s Monday, September 15th, and today I’m going to be picking up a bunch of things that I hopefully will never need. But that’s wishful thinking, and I’m counting on that. I might need them. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be any use to get them.

Traveling Through Eastern Holland

For that, I have to go to several towns in the eastern part of Holland, such as Steenwijk, Rlo, Coevorden, Notter, Omlo, and all the nice little roads in between where you get to encounter the really, really big trucks and tanker trucks. Those guys do know how to drive.

Gear Checklist

So with all that, I should be able to get traction boards. These are for putting under the tires in the event you get stuck. Only question is, how will you get them under the tires? Then a hi-lift jack with that. Then also a 12-volt tire pump, air pump and repair kit for a tire, straps, a tow line, and a pulley and connectors for the tow line. Seems like overkill, but all these things take up a lot of space, and that is what needs to happen.

Enjoying the Dutch Countryside

While doing all that, I get to enjoy the Dutch countryside and have fun along the way.

Returning to the Campsite

In the end, I made my way back to Dwingeloo, or the Stay in Leh campsite, so I can jump from there back to Grootejos tomorrow for the camper place to finish putting in the chair.

Looking Ahead

I’ll be talking more tomorrow. Thank you.
